About

House of Joy Mountbatten Eldercare Centre was founded in 2010 as an extension of a community befriending programme supported by Southeast Community Development Council. The space at the void deck of Blk 12 was provided by the HDB with support of the local member of parliament, Mr. Lim Biow Chuan.

Besides coordinating befriending efforts of volunteers towards some 400 seniors living across 21 blocks in the area, the centre also provides and organises regular programmes & events for the seniors living in the Mountbatten estate.
