Never Too Young to Start Giving Back
Every Saturday morning, a group of teenagers gathers at the CHCSA centre. They’re not here for tuition or activities — they’re here to volunteer.
Through the Rise & Shine programme, these young people have learned that giving back doesn’t require waiting until you’re older. They pack meals for elderly residents, help with centre activities, and mentor younger children.
For 16-year-old Sarah, volunteering has changed her perspective. “I used to think I was too young to make a difference,” she says. “But now I see that every small act of kindness counts.”
